Each of us has the potential to solve our greatest mysteries, but first, we must learn what we need to discover. Often, even with the use of a looking glass, our brains can sense the issues, but our bodies remain in the dark.

For some, this is why we embark on the Alexander journey — as James Taylor would say, “I ain’t asking for details; won’t you just give me a clue.”

Happily, an Alexander teacher’s hands can become the perfect mirror, gently cajoling areas long dormant into a keen presence, helping those muscles and joints finally see and breathe.

This is why and how I’ve studied with Amira Glaser and continue to do so.
