I offer a sliding scale to help accommodate people’s varying financial circumstances and make it possible for clients to have regular sessions, which often offers the most benefit.
If you feel drawn to exploring a gift-based way of being in the world with me*, please speak with me about paying outside of the sliding scale in order to feel most aligned with what you are able to receive and to give. You can also reach out to me with other gift or trade-based possibilities. If you are able to pay at the higher end of my sliding scale or above, you help make it possible for me to give sessions to those who are dedicated but cannot monetarily afford the support they need, and I deeply appreciate it.
Wellbeing sessions include a personalized intake followed by acupuncture or acupressure. Sessions may also include, as appropriate/desired: hands-on work informed by the Alexander Technique, the Art of Breathing, Tui Na, and Polarity; Dietary & Herbal Therapy; Moxibustion, Cupping & Gua Sha; and other complementary healing methods.
Initial Visit (75-90 minutes): $125-175
Standard session (50 minutes): $85-105
Extended session (70 minutes): $120-150
I also offer “Pod Sessions” for 2-3 people to share a session: $55-75 each
Alexander Technique/Art of Breathing Lesson Only: $80-100 (40 minutes)
Cupping/Gua Sha/Moxibustion Only (20 minutes): $50+
I am also now offering a limited number of Virtual Sessions (please contact me for more information):
Virtual Chinese Medicine Sessions (30 minutes): $75+
Virtual Alexander Practice Sessions (30 minutes): $75+
House & Office calls considered on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee.
If you have any questions about my payment structure, please do not hesitate to ask.
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, to enable my scheduling to better flow and to see as many clients as I can within each week. I would appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule. Please honor the financial commitment for cancellations under 24 hours
I do not accept insurance because of the limitations imposed and because I wish to make my sessions available to all who are committed to come regularly, through sliding scale and gift based options.
Acupuncture is covered out of network under some insurance plans in NC. If you think you may be covered, please contact your insurance company directly. I can provide you with a super-bill if you would like to submit to your health insurance for reimbursement.
Most HSAs and Flex Spending accounts will reimburse for acupuncture with a receipt, which I am happy to provide.
Alexander Technique is not currently covered by health insurance in the United States. Some doctors recommend the Technique to patients, and with their prescription, patients are reimbursed for lessons with flex-spending accounts.
